Delicious Food - Perfect Service I have recently started going to this restaurant as I actually never knew it existed - it is a hidden gem. I am assuming it is an Italian restaurant and thank goodness because we struggle to find decent Italian food lately. I haven’t tried anything else besides the pasta and cakes but based on those meals I am almost positive you will not go wrong with anything on the menu. I was actually referred to this restaurant by friends who love the seafood pasta here as well. Service is perfect! Atmosphere is homey and warm! Make sure you phone to see if there is a table available first as they are often fully booked. Another sign I am not the only one who loves this place. Thank you for your great service and food. Pranzo domenicale dalla zia Sono in zona Johannesburg x lavoro e vivendo in un apparthotel.. esco solo nel weekend a pranzo.. leggo le recensioni..e mi reco qui x provare un po' i sapori di casa.. e devo dire, pur stando a migliaia di km, l'Italia c'è!! Ho assaggiato un po' di tutto in più pasti: antipasti buoni: caponata, carpaccio,arancino ecc.ecc. i primi piatti sono la cosa che più ho preferito: ravioli e spaghetti alla vongole.. i secondi onestissimi: calamari fritti e scaloppine al marsala.. l dolci non mi han fatto impazzire.. ma già di mio non li adoro (preferisco il salato) .. la cosa più bella è conoscere chi gestisce il locale (Graziella e Vasco in primis) e gli italiani emigrati che frequentano questo locale non elegante ma che ricorda le trattorie oneste e calorose di quando ero giovane.. creando una simpatica e cordiale comunità!! Sunday afternoon lunch Sunday afternoon lunch at this local Italian restaurant. Food and service was superb. We had a cannelloni and pollo penne special, chilled bottle of merlot. Dessert was cappuccino's. Pricing is on the high side, but well worth it.

Uno spicchio di casa a Johannesburg Grande Graziella. DI solito non vado nei ristoranti italiani all`estero dato che sono sempre una delusione. Da Graziella mi ci hanno portato ma ho scoperto un ottimo ristorante anche per gli standard italiani. Sono poi tornato diverse volte e mi sento di consigliarlo a tutti. Ottima cucina. Pasta al dente. Funghi porcini trifolati eccezionali. Cannoli siciliani molto buoni. È un piacere scoprire tutte le volte cose nuove e deliziose. Dal peperone ripieno alla trippa. Graziella è anche una bella persona che trova sempre 5 minuti per due chiacchiere in un italiano perfetto.

Perfetto! Despite some folk angry, Oi! I have feasted in Italian Restaurants from Rome to Napoli, from London to Auckland, from Rio to Johannesburg, and in-between, and Da Graziella is always tops, never disappoints! Lunch yesterday was a masterpiece. A plate arrived of perfectly grilled melanzane (brinjal), succulent zucchini (baby marrows), and an accompanying, slightly sweetish tomato relish that began an applause of cuisine-delux! What a brilliant way to open the appetite! Our main course was pasta - a panzerotti clothed in subtle chicken bits, parmesan and pistachio, resting on a requested small helping of cream, had pupils dilated, and added joy to the conversation. My choice was a special of linguine, awash with sea food - perfect! Nothing over-powered and all the ingredients blended and complemented each other: from calamari to peeled prawns in a subtle sea of tomato-the-Italian-way. Bravo! Will always return to your restaurant for the best! Who needs to go to Italy, when Italian cuisine at its best is right here! G

Has to be in top three Italian restaurants in Johannesburg This is our "go to" restaurant for Roast Rabbit (Conignlio). Authentic Italian Deli and restaurant in Edenvale. Italian food is so much more than pasta and pizzas. Highly recommended
